I love mid – century modern architecture, so I’ve had this book for a long time.  I just rediscovered it recently and the stunning photos of case study house projects are still inspiring!  It completely explores the use of modern industrial materials for constructing a house. You have a small number of books that deals with the case studies of house project, this is one among it and a must have edition.

Pierre Koenig is a master mid-century modern architect and one of the premier Case Study Homes designers. The works of Pierre Koenig are explained here in an easy to read format. He was considered to be one of the finest architects in the mid 20th century.

    Modern design is a little too modern for me. The overall design does look great in the end, but I cannot get over the fact that it seems that these types of rooms would not be lived in.
